i have never even met anyone who's actually eaten a mcrib, let alone
enjoyed one. yet, they keep coming back. please help me understand (unless understanding requires me to partake of the classic sandwich, which in that case, i might just take your word for it)

I've eaten one! I ate one earlier this week, just to say I had done it. Wasn't horrible, but if I really wanted ribs, I wouldn't be getting them at McDonalds.
Careful. For all you know, Beb loves McRib. Now that she's a poor college student, that's where she's gonna go to eat for her birthday.
I've never even seen one that's not on TV...
SERIOUSLY! I thought I was missing something, but I am missing the appeal of meat in the shape of ribs heated under a heat lamp.
