i love these people. a crew of efy counselors headed out to chili's after a long day of work. my little family came to join in on the fun. don't we look like a million bucks??

it's weird to be back in provo. weird in a good way, i think. in a weird way, salt lake city is home now. i know i don't have a real home there since i'm only a guest at grandmas at the moment. but home is where the heart is, and i think i'm ready for the movie move to the slc.

i wish i had an update for you on the job hunt. when i do, the blogging world will be the first to know. ok, let's be honest, i'll probably make a few calls first...but then you'll know. deal? deal.

just around the riverbend

today is my day off, so i headed out on the river with my siblings. it was the perfect warm day. freezing river water. laughing our faces off on the best river ride in a long time. i didn't even fall out once, which is very different from my last trip down a river...which we will not discuss right now.
tomorrow the fam is all getting together at grandmas for a birthday extravaganza. can't wait. cousins. big yard with green grass galore. and homemade ice cream to boot. i love summer.

i changed the name of my blog.

so, i've decided to change the name of my blog.now, not only do i blog about real life...the good, the bad and the ug, but if you are one of the luckies to see me on a regular basis, you get it in real life too.

so there you have it. i'm sure a majority of you didn't even notice the change. but for the one who did (thanks whit) i thought i'd explain.  :)

weekend getaway

i'm in McCall Idaho this weekend. way last minute, which makes it even more fun.this was our view this afternoon before we headed out on the lake.

this is my view right this second. you heard me. i took this picture on my phone and emailed it to myself just in time to post it on this little bloggy blog. gorgeous, right? it's a beautiful night. we just got back from the natural hot springs, took a show pow and now laura and i are hangin out on the balcony enjoying the view of the century. now, please excuse me. the ultimate gossip session awaits.

my mom has told me before that i can't keep a straight face in a picture.
