i love the weekends; therefore, i love fridays because they are the beginning of the weekend. i am always insanely tempted to leave early on fridays. this friday, not a problem. i'm allowed to leave early. why you ask?
my office likes to be invovled in the community. did we "adopt a highway"? yes. are they asking for help to clean up university parkway on friday from 11-1? yes. do i get paid for it? yes. do i get to wear a bright orange vest? (safety first) yes. do they feed us lunch when we get back? yes. do i get to leave early? YES.
so many questions. so many yes's.
so....if you are driving down university parkway on friday between state street and university avenue, keep an eye out for me. i'll be the one getting paid to pick up trash to better our community.
